BaliHoneymoon.com wurde 2020 von Olivia & Dirk gegründet. Ursprünglich begann es nur als Blog, auf dem sie ihre persönlichen Bali-Tipps für Paare teilten. Im Laufe der Jahre entwickelte es sich jedoch zu einem Full-Service Boutique-Reisebüro mit einem lokalen Team auf Bali, das unvergessliche Flitterwochen für Paare organisiert.

Olivia Olivia co-founded BaliHoneymoon.com with Dirk and manages the local team and relations with local partners. She moved to Bali 8 years ago and has a background in sustainability. She loves Indonesian food, writing and organic farming.
Dirk Dirk co-founded BaliHoneymoon.com with Olivia and is responsible for the website, honeymoon packages and anything technical. He's been living in Bali for 7 years and loves all water activities, as well as driving his scooter along the rice fields.
Ratih Ratih works as Travel Planner at BaliHoneymoon.com and enjoys creating meaningful and memorable experiences for couples in Bali. She is curious and thoughtful, and loves building genuine connections with people. In her free time, she enjoys cafe hopping, spending time with dogs, and reflecting on life's experiences.
Kenza Growing up in Denpasar, Bali, Kenza naturally fell in love with travel and culture. But her creative side goes way back, she's been making digital notes and editing layouts since elementary school. Now a student and our part-time Website Content Editor, she takes that lifelong passion and uses it to build clean, engaging, and well structured web content.
Rila Rila is travel planner, customer support and and assists with itinerary design at BaliHoneymoon.com. She splits her time between the city of Malang on Java Island and Bali, and enjoys discovering hidden gems around the Bali when she is here.
Angela Angela is a virtual assistant at BaliHoneymoon.com, supporting bookings and sales. Based in Kuala Lumpur while pursuing her degree, she enjoys hiking, exploring new places, and being involved in events and committees.
Mitha Mitha is our HR Expert and proudly Balinese. She handles recruitment, HR administration, and talent development. In her free time she spending time at the beach with her family and enjoy explore new cafes in Bali.
Osa Osa is a proud local Balinese who manages our social media channels. She enjoys soaking in the island's natural beauty and exploring the underwater world, always sharing the magic of Bali and helpful tips with our couples through social media.
Devix Devix has a background as an accountant and currently works as a freelance accountant at Bali Honeymoon, handling monthly reports and transaction receipt summaries. She enjoys watching K-dramas and C-dramas, is a K-pop fan, and loves traveling.
Ika Ika works as a freelance travel planner at BaliHoneymoon.com, bringing a thoughtful and gentle touch to every trip she helps create. In her quiet time, she loves enjoying a warm cup of Balinese coffee at home and sometimes collecting photos of glowing sunsets.
Abi Abi is a Social Media Marketing Intern at BaliHoneymoon.com, where he helps the team create engaging content and share unique experiences in Bali with couples around the world. With a background in English Education and a strong interest in digital marketing, content creation, and graphic design, he enjoys exploring Bali in his free time to discover new places and gather inspiration for future content. Outside of work, he stays active by playing korfball and basketball, which are his favorite hobbies.

Vom Blog zur Bali Flitterwochen-Agentur

2020: Blog launched 🌏 Stuck in a 5-month lockdown during Covid, Olivia & Dirk launched BaliHoneymoonGuide.com to share Bali tips for couples, something they felt was missing online. The idea originated from friends asking for honeymoon advice.
2022: Bali reopens after Covid 🌴 Although Bali was closed in 2020–2021, Olivia & Dirk kept adding content. When borders reopened in 2022, traffic grew, but many outdated recommendations had to be updated due to post-Covid closures.
2023: First honeymoon organized 💑 Readers began asking if Olivia & Dirk could plan their honeymoons. Despite initial hesitation, they agreed. The first couple visited Bali in late 2023. Early itineraries were fully custom-made for each couple.
2024: Honeymoon packages & local team 👋 With growing demand, they turned custom trips into curated packages and hired their first local planner to assist couples with on-the-ground support.
2025: Rebranding to BaliHoneymoon.com 🚀 As the business grew, the site rebranded to BaliHoneymoon.com in 2025. Now a boutique agency with a local team of 4 people, it offers personalized, well-crafted honeymoons.
2026: Office Opening 🚀 In February 2026, we opened our very own office in downtown Ubud. The opening ceremony was attended by many hotel and experience partners. Now, our team of 10 people has a nice place to work from!

Hallo Turteltäubchen! Wir sind Olivia & Dirk, das Paar, das diese Webseite und das Reisebüro gegründet hat. Dirk kommt aus den Niederlanden und Olivia ist ursprünglich aus Sumatra in West-Indonesien. Wir leben zusammen seit über 8 Jahren auf Bali und haben uns in die Insel verliebt.

Olivia ist 2017 nach ihrem Studium in Australien für die Arbeit nach Bali gezogen, und Dirk hat Anfang 2018 Bali besucht – mit dem Plan, ein oder zwei Monate zu bleiben. Nachdem er Olivia kennengelernt hatte, entschied er sich, für immer auf Bali zu bleiben!

Wir haben sowohl in Canggu als auch in Ubud gewohnt. Und nicht nur das, wir haben wirklich jeden Winkel der Insel erkundet – wir kennen alle geheimen Ecken, besonders die romantischen Orte, die super für Paare auf Flitterwochen sind!

Wir reisen beide sehr gerne. Olivia war in über 75 Ländern und schreibt über ihre Reisen in Indonesien auf ihrem Blog und in einem Buch, das sie herausgebracht hat.

Neben BaliHoneymoon.com betreibt Dirk eine Erdbeben-Tracker Webseite und hat ein Software-Tool entwickelt, um Google-Rankings (SEO) zu checken. Mittlerweile verbringt er aber die meiste Zeit mit BaliHoneymoon.com.

Wir haben zusammen schon ungefähr 40 Länder auf allen sechs Kontinenten besucht. Unsere Favoriten sind Guatemala, Georgien und Neuseeland. Aber wir kommen immer wieder zurück nach Bali! Wir lieben es, Reiserouten für uns selbst zusammenzustellen, Flug-Deals zu finden, gute Unterkünfte zu entdecken und coole Aktivitäten. We had the best experience working with them for our honeymoon. Everything was planned so well, and after all the stress that came with planning a wedding, it was honestly such a relief to be able to just enjoy the trip and not have to worry about anything.

The communication throughout the whole process was amazing, and we always felt like they genuinely cared about us and making sure we were having a great time. One day I ended up getting sick, and our driver stayed on standby and kept checking in on us to make sure we were okay. This agency was one of the best i've ever used, they had drivers ready for us when we landed and through out the whole trip. There was 4 locations we visited; Sideman, Lombok, Ubud & Seminyak as our final stay and each stay we had was just amazing. We had an issue with the hotel supplying us a smaller room than expected, we contacted our agent and she took care of the situation and we were upgraded to a better suite.

Another incident whereas the tour guide was taking photos and damaged my mobile handset which was a Samsung S23 Ultra. They had the mobile phone picked up by a driver and delivered to Samsung for a full repair of the screen and damages sustained. I had my phone repaired within 72hrs and delivered to me in another hotel as we moved locations 2 hrs away. Just amazing service and all covered by them.

Options given as me and my wide aren't party animals were great and we meet alot of local people that showed us around which we eventually met their family and had coffee together.

I just want to get married again just to use your services again.
