Terms and Conditions

The following terms and conditions apply when booking services with us.

Payment Terms:

• All service fees are non-refundable and non-transferable. Once we receive your payment we will start paying our partners.
• We are not responsible for flight delays, visa/document issues or other problems causing a delay to your arrival in Bali. We suggest all couples to make sure they have proper travel and medical insurance.
• Prices listed on our website might change due to seasonality, inflation or exchange rate fluctuations. When you make your booking we will communicate the final price to you.
• High Season Rates might apply for bookings that (partly) fall between July 1 and August 31, or between December 10 and January 10. Shoulder Season Rates apply in June and September. We will inform you of the final price before finalizing your booking.
• We will invoice you in Indonesian Rupia or US Dollar. Depending on your chosen payment method, transaction or exchange rate fees may apply.

Hotel Booking Terms

• We always try to get hotels to hold rooms for you while we wait for your payment. Sometimes this does not work, and rooms might become unavailable before we can secure them. In those cases, we will either offer a 100% refund or work with you to find alternative accomodation.
• If you decide to cancel hotels, we cannot guarantee refunds. Generally we try to book hotels at the lowest rate for you, which does not include free cancellation options.
• Any additional spending beyond what is mentioned in your package is at your own expense. Unless otherwise specified, assume that only breakfast is included in your stay.
• Pictures of rooms are for illustration purposes only. We always make sure to get you the room type we promised, but the exact layout or interior may sometimes slightly differ from what you’ve seen on a picture.

Activity Terms:

• You may choose to skip certain activities or transport while in Bali, and that is fine. However, no refunds can be provided in such case. If some activities are not to your liking, please let us know before booking so we can adjust the itinerary before we invoice you.
• Some activities are weather-dependent, like hikes and boat trips. In case of cancellation due to bad weather we will do our best to either find alternative activities or reschedule some of your itinerary in collaboration with you. If that does not work out we will provide refunds for those activities.
• Some activities depend on nature. It could be cloudy on your Mount Batur Sunrise Hike, Manta Rays might not be in their usual spot during your snorkeling trip or dolphins might be elsewhere for a day - this is out of our control, and the experience of activities in nature cannot be 100% guaranteed.
• If you decide to explore some more beyond the planned itinerary using our private driver, this will be at your own additional cost (to be paid directly to the driver). The driver is reserved for the planned itinerary only.
• If lunch or dinner is provided as part of your itinerary, there usually is a set menu. If you decide to order something else or additional drinks beyond the planned dinner, these costs are on you.
• In case you are late, e.g. while meeting your driver in the hotel lobby, we always do our best to reschedule your itinerary accordingly, but are not responsible and cannot provide refunds in case it leads to missing an experience.
• If you book a honeymoon far in advance, restaurants and activity operators might slightly alter the experience they offer in the meantime. For example, a restaurant menu or the exact perks in a beach club might change over the course of a few months. We cannot control this, and can’t guarantee refunds, but work with you if you are unhappy with the change.

Gili Islands Ferry Cancellations

• In case of high waves, fast ferries between the Gili Islands or Lombok and Bali might get cancelled. This is not super likely, but the risk does exist (especially in August and September). We organized 42 fast ferry crossings to the Gilis and Lombok in 2025 and cancellations happened only 1 time.
• We only work with reliable ferry operators like Ekajaya and BlueWater Express, and trust their safety judgement. If our operators don’t sail out, we recommend against going with any less reliable fast ferry operator that might still operate. A quick search for the horrendous reviews of some of these other operators on Google Maps will immediately make clear why.
• In case of fast ferry cancellations, the slower Car Ferry between Padang Bai and Lembar (South Lombok) usually still operates, as it’s a bigger more stable ship that carries trucks & cars as well. Unfortunately it is slow (around 5 hours) and is not as comfortable as the tourist ferries. On the bright side, it’s a very local experience, with an onboard cafe that sells noodles and snacks, you may spot dolphins, and you’ll likely meet some friendly Indonesians curious about your travels. To get between the harbour in Lombok and your Gili Island, an additional 1.5 hour overland taxi to the port near the Gilis and a 20-minute private boat transfer are required.
• We will COVER ALL COSTS and arrange everything to get you to the Gilis using this slow ferry + overland taxi + private 20-minute boat. We’ll also do our best but can’t guarantee refunds for missed activities due to the delay.
• If you DO NOT WANT TO TAKE THE SLOW FERRY between the Gilis and Bali (or if its cancelled as well), we will take care of you based on the following options:
  1. If the cancellation happens on the way to the Gilis, we can organize a last-minute alternative stay in Bali. We can organize snorkeling in Amed or Padangbai, with a nice 4- or 5-star stay in the area - or something else if you prefer. We’ll try to get a refund from your stay and activities in the Gili Islands but cannot guarantee this, and will use any refund first to organize your alternative stay and activities in Bali.
  2. If the cancellation happens on your way back to Bali, we can delay your return by 1 day. We will cover 1 extra night in a 4- or 5-star hotel, but can’t guarantee extending your current hotel and can’t provide refunds for missed activities or stays in Bali. If Fast Ferries are still cancelled the next day we can still help you getting on the slow ferry and cover the costs.
  3. You could pay for a 30-minute flight between Bali and Lombok yourself. This is more comfortable than the slow ferry, but as soon as cancellation news hits the prices often jump from an average 60$ per person to around 300$ per person - and still sell out fast. We usually get notified early in the morning so might be able to help you get a little ahead of the curve, but cannot cover these flight cost. We will however cover all other transport (Bali Airport transfer, 1.5 hour taxi between Lombok airport and the harbour near the Gilis, and a 20-minute private boat transfer to/from your Gili Island).

Force Majeure

• BaliHoneymoon.com shall not be held liable or responsible for any failure, delay, or interruption in the performance of its obligations under this agreement if such failure is caused by “Force Majeure” events. These include, but are not limited to, Acts of God (such as earthquakes, hurricanes, floods, or volcanic eruptions), war, terrorism, civil unrest, strikes, pandemics or government-imposed travel restrictions. In such instances, the Agency is not required to pay compensation or provide refunds unless specifically mandated by law or recovered from third-party suppliers. We strongly recommend that all clients purchase comprehensive travel insurance that explicitly covers these disruptions.
